1.Introduction of the System
1. Navigate to the Access Control module using the left-hand navigation bar. This section displays all previously established configurations.
2. To initiate a new configuration, click the Add Configuration button located in the upper-left corner.

2. System Management

Go to the Biowave portal and sign in using the credentials provided by Arana Security. Root
Admin users can access full control including configuration, users, and devices.

Click your profile icon on the top-right corner → select Change Password → enter the new
password twice and confirm.

Click the Logout on top-right of the interface, select Logout and click Confirm to
log out from the portal
3. Device Management

–Press on devices on the left side menu.
-Press on view devices.
–Then press on the “Add Device” button to add the device.

–Add device name (as a reference)
–Add device serial number
–Add station number
–Add Latitude and Longitude depend on device Location
–Select Idemia From device manufacture
–Select the device to be (verification, enrollment or both)
–Then select the device you need like (Morphowave SP or XP ,..)
Use the three dots next to the device name → select Edit to modify details or Delete to
remove.

-Ensure Controller Feedback is enabled.
-Set Remote Message Mode to “Send to host 1”.
-Add IP and port of the verification application.
-Use TCP protocol and 700 timeout.
-Save and test connection.


4. User Management

Go to User Management → Add User, fill in user information, and save.
Use the three dots next to the device name → select Edit to modify details or Delete to
remove.

Yes, select the source device, choose users to sync, and assign them to target devices. All
selected users will be automatically enrolled.
5. Access Control Configuration

1- General Configuration: Provide the Configuration Name, define the global access type (All-Times Access or No), and specify the standard Door Access Time Range.
2- Calendar Scheduling: Select the standard Working Days and designate any applicable Holidays.
3- Device Assignment: Choose the access Device that has been previously added and linked to this configuration.
4- Selecting the Authentication Mode needed, is it Card only, face recognition, 3D print it depends on what the device supports
5- Select if you want single or Multi authentication and added to a specific group to follow

- Click on Group Management on the left navigation bar.
- Click on Add on the top left.
- Write down the desired name for the group you are creating.
- Press Add, and you will find your group is added to the list of Group Management

- Click on Multi-Authentication on the left navigation bar.
- Click on Add on the top left.
- Write down the desired name for the Multi-Authentication Group are creating.
- Press Add, and you will find your Multi-Authentication Group is added to the list of Multi-Authentication Group Management.
- Click on Assign User To a Group on the left navigation bar.
- Start selecting all the users from the boxes on the left that you want to add in a group
- Select the desired name for the Assign User To a Group are creating.
- Press Assign Selected, and you will find your Assign User To a Group is added to the list

- Click on Assign User To Multi-Auth Group on the left navigation bar.
- Start selecting all the users from the boxes on the left that you want to add in a group
- Select the desired name for the Assign User To Multi-Auth Group
- Press Assign Selected, and you will find your Assign User To Multi-Auth Group is added to the list

- Click on Assign Configuration to user on the left navigation bar.
- Start selecting all the users from the boxes on the left that you want to add in a group
- Select the desired name for the Assign Configuration to user.
- Press Assign Selected, and you will find your Assign Configuration to user is added to the list

6. Troubleshooting & Tips
-Verify the IP and port configuration.
–Ensure “Send to host” mode is enabled.
–Confirm the device is connected to the network.
–Restart the device and retry syncing.
Check synchronization settings between enrolment and verification devices. Ensure cloud
connection is active.
Confirm your internet connection, ensure correct credentials, or contact your system admin
for reset.
7. Reports & Insights
Click on Live Monitoring on the left navigation bar, you will be able to track and see the logs in Live Mode

- Click on Daily Report on the left navigation bar.
- Start selecting the Date desired From Date, To Date
- Then press on Filter to see the required information

- Click on Basic Muster Report on the left navigation bar.
- Select what should be included in the report: Absent, Safe, or Both.
- Choose the required ‘From’ date/time and ‘To’ date/time to be shown.
- Then, click on the Report button.

2- Choose the From date and To date required to be shown in the report
3- Click on Show Report

- Navigate to HR Report in the left navigation panel.
- Specify the Date for which you require the report.
- Select the Device Station Number.
- Identify the User for whom the report is required.
- Click Show Report.
